I Got Several Thank You Letters
I just finished a speaking engagement at a local school where I talked to the kids in an assembly about an art exhibit we have at our local museum. I showed slides and answered questions and it seemed to really hold their interest. I know that art can be something many kids are not really interested in at a young age, but I was so happy to get a nice large envelope full of thank you letters this week from the classroom teacher. She said that the kids in her room really did like the topic and my talk and they wrote them at their own request.
