Twitter’s Amazing Growth
When Jack Dorsey was curious and interested to know what his friends were doing Twitter was born. It has its office in San Fransisco and started in the year 2006 as a social networking platform for its users. Soon it became one of the popular websites and was ranked among the fifty popular website by Alexa’s web traffic. Twitter has a phenomenal growth rate of 1382 percentage followed by its close competitor Zimbio and face book. twitter played an important role in the 2008 presidential election in the United States and is used by politicians during the campaign. Its usage significantly increased by 43 percentages on the Election Day.
